Thursday

Things I Love About Today-
starting out my morning with God's Word, being on top of laundry, and a run
morning air after a stormy night
the wonderful grace of my God
His steadfast love and mercy being renewed every morning!
laughing at my crazy parents who stay out until ridiculous hours
finishing my to-do list by mid-morning
warm blow dryers
the curly hair that God has blessed me with! sounds silly, but I love it!
driving with windows down in beautiful weather
my sweet trouser-jeans
Yahweh granting me patience during Mary's piano lesson
facebooking Hannah about wedding showers all day
oranges
naps
reading last month's Real Simple magazine
experimenting with recipes
baking cranberry orange scones for Arielle's wedding shower
reading Feminine Appeal

Verse of the Day-

Titus 1:15-16
To the pure, all things are pure, but to the defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure; but both their minds and their consciences are defiled. They profess to know God, but they deny Him by their WORKS. They are detestable, disobedient, unfit for any GOOD WORK.

Titus 2:7-8
Show yourself in all respects to be a model of GOOD WORKS, and in your teaching show integrity, dignity, and sound speech that cannot be condemned, so that an opponent may be put to shame, having nothing evil to say about us.

Titus 2:11-14
For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession who are zealous for GOOD WORKS.

Titus 3:1-8
Remind them to be submissive to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every GOOD WORK, to speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling, to be gentle, and to show perfect courtesy toward all people. For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another. But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, He saved us, not because WORKS done by us in rightesouness, but according to His own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by His grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. The saying is trustworthy, and I want you to insist on these things, so that those who have believed in God may be careful to devote themselves to GOOD WORKS. These things are excellent and profitable for people.

Titus 3:14
And let our people learn to devote themselves to GOOD WORKS, so as to help cases of urgent need, and not be unfruitful.
